Two ‘Centurion car thieves’ spotted on mall security footage, arrested
“The two men were found in possession of suspected stolen tyres and tools used in theft out of motor vehicles.”

Two men were arrested in Centurion on Wednesday afternoon, on suspicion they were involved in various car-related thefts, the police have said.
Lyttelton police spokesperson Captain Dave Miller said the two were picked up on shopping mall CCTV cameras driving a panel van allegedly linked to the crimes.
“A Lyttelton police roving team was dispatched to the area,” Miller said.
“They were able to locate the panel van in the Centurion CBD with the suspects inside.
“The two men were found to be in possession of suspected stolen spare tyres and tools used in theft out of motor vehicle cases.”
The two were arrested around 15:00 on charges of possession of suspected stolen goods and car break-in tools.
They were due to appear in the Pretoria magistrate’s court soon.
