EFF and security personnel march to affect city streets

They will be marching to the Tshwane House on grievances of security workers.

The Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) and security personnel are marching to the CBD on Thursday morning on grievances of security workers.

The marchers gathered at Princess Park since 09:00 and are expected to move to the Tshwane House later, said Tshwane metro police spokesperson Senior Superintendent Isaac Mahamba.

The route of the march is as follows:

From Princess Park, they will get into WF Nkomo Street, turn left into Bosman Street and proceed right into Madiba Street and then straight until they reach the Tshwane House.

The following intersections will be affected:

*Kgosi Mampuru Street
*Sophie De Bryn Street
*Paul Kruger Street
*Thabo Sehume Street
*Lilian Ngoyi Street

They are expected to disperse from Tshwane House at 12:00.

Motorists are advised to avoid the affected Streets and use alternative routes such as:

*Johannes Ramokhoase Street
*Boom Street
*Struben Street
