Cricket SA asks all South Africans to sing the anthem today
“Let the world hear as more than 50 million South Africans sing along from the length and breadth of the country at once.”

Cricket SA has asked all South Africans to sing the national anthem as a sign of solidarity in the the fight against Covid-19 on Friday 3 April.
They were asked to do this at exactly 13:00 on Friday wherever they are in their homes.
“Open your windows or stand in your doorways or on your stoeps or balconies,” the organisation asked.
“Let the world hear as more than 50 million South Africans sing along from the length and breadth of the country at once.”
Cricket SA has requested all South Africans to “go into the unknown on our terms, as best we can, as one – with hands on hearts and hope-filled skies,” with their participation in this initiative.
It has also been requested that South Africans spread this initiative via social media platforms as soon as possible, so that it will be announced as widely as possible.
The hashtags that can be used are #SA21daysofsolidarity and #nkosisikeleliafrica and #fridayanthem.
