Chilly week ahead for Pretoria
South Africa will welcome winter with snow and a chilly start to the coming week as temperatures expected to drop significantly on Monday, into Tuesday.

Pretoria residents can brace themselves for a cold week ahead.
SA Weather Service said since South Africa would be welcoming winter with snow from Monday as a chilly start to the coming week is expected, with surface temperatures expected to drop significantly.
The drop in temperature would be due to snowfall in Lesotho and the Free State.
The weather service said a cold front was expected to hit the Northern Cape and Western Cape on Monday. The southern parts of Gauteng were likely to be cold and windy on Tuesday.

Forecaster Celeste Fourie said Pretoria can start to feel the cold weather on Tuesday, but the cold front will only settle in on Wednesday.
She said residents would start seeing recovery temperatures from the weekend.

Monday minimum of 9°C and a maximum of 23°C
Tuesday minimum of 8°C and a maximum of 19°C
Wednesday minimum of 2°C and a maximum of 16°C
Thursday minimum of 3°C and a maximum of 18°C
Friday minimum of 5°C and a maximum of 20°C
