Customer dies in Tshwane walk-in-centre queue

The Tshwane metro’s customer care centre in Soshanguve has been closed for the day after a customer collapsed and died while standing in a queue on Monday morning.
The walk-in-centre is in block F.
“The centre’s staff members are traumatised by witnessing this unfortunate incident and counselling will be arranged for them,” said a Tshwane metro spokesperson.
“The matter is now in the hands of the South African police service. The city would like to express condolences to the family of the deceased customer.
“Customers are urged to visit other nearest centres for services. We apologise for the inconvenience caused,” the spokesperson said.
