Wonderboompoort police station closed after member tests positive

Wonderboompoort police station has temporarily closed for decontamination due to a member testing positive for Covid-19 on Friday.

The public will be informed when it would resume operations.

The community service centre would be operating from the detectives building, which is situated further up in the same street (opposite the Caltex garage) police spokesperson Constable Mandlakayise Zwane.

“The community is advised to call 10111 for all emergencies and complaints which need to be attended by Wonderboompoort police station.

“The telephone lines at Wonderboompoort police station community service centre will not be accessible for the duration of the closure. The building will be undergoing decontamination and the community will be informed when the station will be operational again,” Zwane said.

“The SAPS management apologizes for any inconvenience that may arise.”
