Police tips as burglaries hit Moot
In some instances, residents have some safety measurements in place, but is not enough to stop burglars, police said.

Villieria police urged residents to be more vigilant at home after several burglaries were reported within the Moot area recently.
Police spokesperson Captain Coba Brits advised the community to look out for each other and work together.
“Last week a burglary was reported to our station where several items were stolen out of a Wendy house at the back of the yard. In another incident, the electric fence of a security complex was damaged,” she said.
Although residents had home safety measurements in place in both incidents, it was not enough, Brits added.
