Grand opening of Kit Kat Cash and Carry in Mamelodi

Hundreds of customers came in their numbers to the grand opening of one of SA’s largest independent wholesale and retail groups Kit Kat Cash and Carry in Mamelodi on Tuesday.
The Kit Kat Cash and Carry, which is the latest edition to their cash and carry stores and a approximately 12 000sqm Mamelodi store, will be one of the largest shopping centres in Mamelodi comprising of multiple departments including groceries, clothing, building materials and a Money Market.

Riaz Gani, CEO of the Kit Kat Group said this milestone is a major move for the company on its mission to expand on a national level.
The store also boasts an in-house pharmacy and a Food Lovers Market and will be opening in the first quarter of 2022.
“Kit Kat is honoured to open its sixth cash and carry store in Mamelodi – a premier shopping location in Pretoria.
“We pledge to ensure that our Mamelodi customers enjoy a pleasant shopping experience with great prices in one convenient location,” said CEO Gani.

He said the group’s inception dates back to 1953 as a corner café in the Old Asiatic Bazaar.
Today, the Gauteng-based business comprises of six cash and carries; 19 express stores; three hybrid cash and carry and express stores and a distribution centre.


“The store is world class and our prizing is very cheap and very competitive.”
The new store is located in Mamelodi East, 1683 Tsamaya Avenue, Mahube Valley in Pretoria and the new stores has employed 300 people.


It will be open from 7:30 to 17:00, Monday to Friday. On weekends from Saturdays 07:30 to 14:30 and Sundays from 08:00 to 13:00.
