NOTICE: Possible water interruptions in Brooklyn, Menlo Park and surroundings

The said work is planned for 9 hours, from 08:00 until 17:00 on May 10.

The Tshwane metro has warned residents of scheduled maintenance work to be done to the water supply network in some parts of the east of Pretoria on May 10.

The metro will carry out scheduled maintenance and upgrade of the water supply network in Brooklyn and Menlo Park.

The said work is planned for nine hours, from 08:00 until 17:00.

A water supply interruption will be avoided during this period; however, it may occur from time to time in the following areas:

– The area between Lynnwood Road and Mackenzie Street
– From Roper Street in the west up to 4th Street on the eastern side
– A portion of Duxbury, Brooklyn, Lunnon and Dyer roads – east of Jan Shoba Street.

“The metro sincerely apologises for the inconvenience that may be encountered because of the above-mentioned maintenance work,” metro spokesperson Lindela Mashigo said.

“We appeal to all residents to always use water sparingly.”
