R5 000 reward for missing dog, Até
Até, the white bull terrier and sprayed female disappeared near her home after the pet sitter by accident left the gate open.
A four-year-old bull terrier named Até went missing from Breyer Avenue in Waverley on Saturday evening.
A R5 000 reward was being offered to anyone who traces the much-loved family dog that went missing while his owners were away for the weekend.
Até, a white bull terrier and spayed female, disappeared near her home after the pet sitter by accident left the gate open.

Her owners, Chyresse and Hannes De Winnaar, are frantic with worry.
Residents have since been on the lookout for Até. Social media groups were created in a bid to return the pooch to her owners.

She is friendly but might be scared. Anyone who does potentially spot the dog can approach her. She responds to nicknames such as ‘vettie’ and ‘varkie’.
Unfortunately, Connie, the border collie also escaped, where she was struck on the N1 highway south close to the Stormvoël offramp.

“I received a phone call where the person informed me that he spotted both dogs on the highway. We managed to only find Connie’s deceased body. We are however appealing to the public to keep on looking for Até.
“She is microchipped with Até’s address and our contact details,” said Chyresse.
Anyone with more information on her whereabouts can contact Chyresse on 079 041 9430 or Hannes on 064 904 1744.
