Motorcyclist killed in Pretoria accident

The 30-year-old motorcyclist was declared dead on arrival at a local hospital.

Emer-G-Med paramedics responded to an accident involving a motor vehicle and a motorcycle in the east of Pretoria on Saturday evening.

The accident happened at the intersection of Lynnwood Road and Solomon Mahlangu Road.

According to an Emer-G-Med statement, the light motor vehicle and motorcycle collided. Details around the collision were limited at this stage.

Reports from the scene indicated that the male motorcyclist (30) sustained fatal injuries.

The man was declared dead on arrival at a local hospital.

The exact cause of the accident will be subject to police investigations.
