Pretoria braces for a chilly but sunny week ahead
No rain is expected for this week – just temperatures ranging from chilly to slightly warmer.

According to the South African Weather Service, Pretoria residents can expect slightly warm to cool temperatures this week.
Forecaster Tokelo Chiloane said it’s going to be a cold and cool week, with temperatures ranging from a chilly 4°C to a pleasant 22°C.
“We are not expecting any rainfall for the entire week,” Chiloane said.
She said on Monday, the minimum temperature was 4°C and would rise to a maximum of 19°C.
“For Monday we are still under cold conditions, however on Tuesday we are expecting to recover to cool and sunny temperatures,” said Chiloane.
Tuesday’s forecast looks similar, with a low of 4°C and a high of 18°C. She said a sunny day was expected, however, some chilly wind would accompany the sunshine.
Chiloane said Wednesday will be slightly warmer, with the minimum temperature rising to 5°C and the maximum expected to reach 20°C.
Thursday will be the warmest day of the week, with a minimum of 6°C and a maximum of 22°C.
Friday will be similar to Thursday, with a minimum of 7°C and a maximum of 21°C.
She further said the weekend was looking sunny and cool, with temperatures ranging from 7°C to 20°C.
“Perfect conditions for outdoor activities.”
