Several Pretoria West streets closed on Sunday

Several streets will be closed on Sunday due to a soccer match at the Lucas Moripe Stadium.

The Tshwane Metro Police Department (TMPD) will ensure several routes in the west of Pretoria will not be accessible due to a soccer match at the Lucas Moripe Stadium on Sunday, August 11.

“Take note that there will be a soccer match between Mamelodi Sundowns FC and Polokwane City FC at Lucas Moripe Stadium in Atteridgeville at 15:00,” said TMPD in a statement.

The following streets around the stadium will be closed from 10:00 until 20:00:

– Thusago Street and Hlahla Street
– Ramatsui Street and Hlahla Street
– Maunde Street and Hlahla Street
– Maunde Street and Magodielo Street
– Maunde Street and Magombane Street
– Pilane Street and Maunde Street
-Maunde and Pilane Street

Motorists are advised to avoid and use alternative routes such as:

* WF Nkomo Street
* Khudu Street
* Sekhu Street
* Moroe Street
* Seeiso Street

TMPD and SAPS officers will be deployed to monitor all affected streets.
