Pretoria resident takes Mrs. SA crown

Tshego Gaelae took the crown, Pearl Nikolic is the first princess, and Noeline Rajbally the second.

Centurion resident Tshego Gaelae stood out among the crowd of contestants to take the crown as Mrs South Africa 2024.

Thirty ladies battled it out for the title at the grand finale on November 17, and Gaelae (33), who took the crown, is an admitted attorney who works as a group B-BBEE and labour relations manager. She has one child that she shares with her husband of four years. In her spare time, she enjoys creating influential content for brands on her social media platform, as well as educational content for “My Lawyer’s Corner”, her YouTube channel.

She said, “Sisterhood, to me, means taking a purposeful role in seeing to the success of the women in and around us. In this regard, I am highly dedicated to the wins of women from all walks of life,” she said.

Mrs South Africa is the number one pageant and female empowerment program for married women in South Africa. According to participants, it is a truly life-changing journey for the women who enter this renowned empowerment program. The pageant delegates are between 25 and 55 years of age, and are mature, driven, ambitious, and most of all real, relatable women who strive to be the best versions of themselves.

They are wives, in some cases mothers, some are entrepreneurs, and most are change makers, some are businesswomen, and others home-makers, but they all want the best for their families, and their communities. They are brave, bona fide superwomen.
