Help find missing Mamelodi teen

Gontse Pearl Mojapelo was last seen by her mother at her residential place on July 9.

Police need help in locating Gontse Pearl Mojapelo (18), who was last seen in Mamelodi East Ext 4.

She was last seen at her home on July 9 by her mother.

Police spokesperson Constable Penelope Khulong said her mother reported her missing after she left home without indicating where she was going.

Khulong continued, saying her mother then asked the victim’s friends if any of them knew where she was, but none of them had any information.

Mojapelo was last seen wearing black tracksuit pants and a coloured jacket.

Khulong reminded the public that there is no waiting period before a person can be reported missing.

Anyone with information about where Mojapelo can be found is asked to call Mamelodi East SAPS on 012 815 7079 or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.

Alternatively, members of the public can send information via the MySAPS App.

All information will be treated as confidential, and callers can choose to remain anonymous.
