Help find Mamelodi pensioner, missing for over a month
Thaka Kgasha from Mamelodi East was last seen wearing a red T-shirt, brown pants and a grey cap when he left home to collect his Sassa grant.
Police are pleading with the public to help locate Thaka Kgasha from Mamelodi East, who was last seen on August 5.
The 70-year-old was last seen wearing a red T-shirt, brown pants and a grey cap.
Police spokesperson Constable Penelope Khulong said Kgasha’s sister reported him missing after she received a call from one of her siblings informing her that their brother had not come back home since leaving the previous day to collect his Sassa grant.
She said his sister enquired with other relatives whether they had seen her brother, but no one had seen him.
“The complainant indicated that she checked different locations such as hospitals, clinics and places the victim normally frequents, but to no avail,” said Khulong.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of the missing man is requested to contact the family on 073 950 5987, call Mamelodi East SAPS on 012 815 7079, or Crime Stop on 08600 10111.
Members of the public can also send information via the MySAPS App. All information will be treated as confidential, and callers may opt to remain anonymous.
There is no waiting period to report a missing person.
