The Pretoria West Police Station would like to inform the community of Pretoria West of the new landline number to be used to report any crime happening or to request police assistance.

• The telephone numbers for the station are 012 497 1448 and 012 497 1449.
• The station commander, Colonel Margate Nkwane, is available on 082 822 8343.
• The commander of the visible policing unit is Lieutenant-Colonel Refilwe Malaoleka and can be reached on 079 895 0666.

The commander of the Detectives is Lieutenant-Colonel Mampye on 082 461 6374.

“Our precinct is divided into three sectors. Sector 1 covers the Central part where the station is based (CBD), Proclamation, TUT area, Iscor Industrial, and Roger Dyson.

“The sector commander of the above areas for any enquiries, information is Sergeant Thaba [who is available on] 071 675 6445,” said police spokesperson, Constable Sibongile Vuma.

The Sector 2 commander is Sergeant Mbambalala, who is available on 071 675 6446. Areas include Westpark, Kwaggasrand, Danville, and Philp Nel Park.

Sector 3 is commanded by Constable Malatja, who can be reached on 071 675 6450. This sector includes Lotus Gardens and the Westford area.
