Downs capture Coetzee in transfer drama
Supersport also brought Myeni to Pretoria during the last day of the transfer window.
Both Pretoria clubs made major signings before the PSL player transfer deadline on Thursday night
Sundowns were probably the biggest winners after signing the highly rated Rivaldo Coetzee from Ajax Cape Town.
The Bafana Bafana defender signed a deal with Downs after his move abroad to Celtic fell through earlier this week.

The 20-year-old was signed in a swap deal which saw another centre-back, Mario Booyens, move from Pretoria to Ajax Cape Town.
According to reports, the Cape Town born defender Coetzee could not complete his move to Scotland due to a broken foot.

He joins Goerge Lebese and Oupa Manyisa as one of the big signings for the Brazilians this season.
It is unclear if he’ll be used in this month’s CAF Champions League matches Sundowns would be involved in.
Supersport also made a move of their own.
They signed Sifiso Myeni on loan from Bidvest Wits on Thursday night.
He is expected to assist the likes of Thuso Phala on the wings as coach Eric Tinkler looks for cover due to the upcoming CAF Confederation cup quarter-finals.
Another good news for the team was that their main striker Jeremy Brockie was not sold.
The team told Sundowns in the past that the New Zealander was not for sale.
Brockie is known as one of the lethal strikers in the country and his eye for goal has seen United retain the Nedbank Cup last season.
