VIDEO: Ngidi’s remarkable year
The young bowler is currently taking wickets left, right and centre in the Ram Slam Challlenge.
Multiply Titans fast bowler Lungi Ngidi has been one of the best performing youngsters in the country.
The 21-year-old has forced his way into the Titans first team ever since he was named the Africa Cup T20 player of the year in July 2016.
In January this year, Ngidi made his T20 International debut against Sri Lanka in Supersport Park where he was named man of the match for his heroics.
He finished with the figures of 2/12 in the rain-affected match between Sri Lanka and the Proteas. The Proteas won the match by 19 runs that night.
Following his heroics, he only played a further two games in the T20 series before an injury ruled him out of the One Day International (ODI) series.
It was later revealed that Ngidi suffered an abdominal injury which ruled him out of action for several months thus disrupting his promising international career.

Before making his debut in January, Ngidi said he enjoyed bowling to batsmen.
“Every time I run into bowl I see it as a competition of skills between myself and the batsman,” he said.
“A competition I obviously want to win. That is why I give a 100 percent with every delivery as there is a real hunger to get the wicket. I will be honest, when I do succeed it is a big thrill.”
After months out, Ngidi returned later this year in the Sunfoil 4-day Test series against the Highveld Lions where he took 9/83.
In the Ram Slam T20 tournament, Lungi Ngidi took a career-best 4/14 to take the Titans to a comfortable 61-run victory over the Dolphins last month.
He has played along Dale Steyn in the tournament which the Titans booked a semifinal berth with two games to spare.
Another young Pretorian who has made his mark this year is Aiden Markram.
He scored a 100 in his debut Test match for the Proteas against Bangladesh late this year.
