BREAKING NEWS: Springboks coach sacked
“I think now is the time the team and me strike out in new directions, I wish Springbok rugby every success as I have always done.”
Current Springbok coach Allister Coetzee has been dismissed as coach of the national rugby squad.
This is according to the SA rugby department, which announced today that it had reached an agreement to terminate Coetzee as coach.

The Springbok coach’s responsibilities will be managed by the rugby department until the national team’s coaching and management group for the year is confirmed.
CEO of SA Rugby Jurie Roux said they had to assess what was in the best interests of the Springbok team.
He said they would like to thank Allister for his passion and dedication to the team and wish him success in his next endeavour.

Allister Coetzee said he has always held the Springbok rugby team close to his heart and will continue to do so.
“I think now is the time the team and me strike out in new directions, I wish Springbok rugby every success as I have always done,” said Coetzee.
