SPORT: SuperSport United still coachless going into new season
The club parted ways with Eric Tinkler back in March.
SuperSport United are still without a coach since the departure of coach Eric Tinkler earlier this year.
The Pretoria club is set to return to training next week for their 2018/19 season, but there have been no reports regarding a new coach.
Following Tinkler’s resignation in March, caretaker coach Kaitano Tembo took over and helped the club survive relegation.
Reports suggest that Steve Khompela, Gavin Hunt, Stuart Baxter, Fadlu Davids and Rhulani Mokoena are strong contenders to fill the vacant job.

On Monday, Khompela was appointed coach of Bloemfontein Celtic, taking him out of the picture.
United were flying high three seasons under the leadership of Stuart Baxter, who’s currently managing the national team.
Under Baxter, the Pretoria side reached three finals in two years winning two.
The club has parted ways with Tefu Mashamaite and Kingston Nkhatha, but are yet to announce any new appointments.
SuperSport United haven’t got a new coach yet, but I’m told there’s no rush to replace Kaitano Tembo at this point.
