The Oppie Bol Foundation, a non-profit organisation dependable upon funding from donors to attain and sustain its objectives, presents an annual golf day in aid of one of their beneficiaries.

Oppie Bol’s main motive is to empower those disabled, differently abled or vulnerable individuals by presenting an opportunity to have access to facilities and equipment, skills development, participation in sport and employment.

The foundation believe that if they can drastically change the socio-economic circumstances of the disabled, it may benefit society as a whole.

Funding or lack of funds is the greatest obstacle in the realisation of the goals of an organization like Oppie Bol. Hence this charitable golf day that will be hosted by Oppie Bol at Irene Country Club on the 16^th of March 2018.

During the special golf day the organizers will bring together both abled bodied golfers and golfers with disabilities. Participants get the opportunity to play golf in a four-ball alliance fundraiser with the sponsors and stakeholders of Oppie Bol.

Participants in this annual event are normally stunned when they realize that there are no limits in sport and the abilities of persons with disabilities.

The beneficiary of this year’s golf day is Lat Wiel, a paraplegic centre in the Pretoria Moot Area. The donation they will receive will help to support their day-to-day operations. Lat Wiel is also host to some remarkable Mouth & Foot painting artists, who exports their work to the international market.

Oppi Bol invite any individuals or companies to participate in this event as a sponsor. There is also an opportunity for companies to become a title sponsor for the golf day.
