“Find your Wingz” through MiWayLife

Seipati Makhananisa took advantage of MiWayLife’s free quote offer and used the opportunity to enter the race as a means to improve her overall fitness and health. She has been part of the SPAR Women’s Challenge for a number of years and enjoys meeting with others who are also facing life’s challenges.
Her story resonates with so many South African households today. Seipati recently told her sad, yet inspiring story.
“My mom died four years ago and, as the elder, I had to help raise two of my siblings who were just entering their teenage years as well as a small baby,” said Makhananisa.
As a strong and courageous woman, she did ‘Find her Wingz’ with her resolve and a positive mindset to overcome any obstacle life throws at her.
Makhananisa said she saw the chance to receive a free quote on MiWayLife’s Facebook and this served as further encouragement to enter the challenge.
“I usually enter with my sister. We love entering because it is fun and great bonding time,” she said.
She had great difficulty in dealing with the death of her father as well as having a child when she was only a teenager. When asking what ‘Find your Wingz’ meant to her she explained that it was her ability to overcome her challenges and having the confidence to move forward through difficult times.
