Muaythai professional fight night at Silver Lakes Hotel promises plenty of action

Some of the African continent's very best Muaythai fighters will be in action on Saturday night at the Silver Lakes Hotel in the east of Pretoria during the Gladiators Cup showdown, where the winner will be rewarded with an extremely valuable prize.

Pretoria residents can once again see some of the country’s very best Muaythai fighters in action on Saturday 17 May when the Gladiators Cup showdown is presented at the Silver Lakes Farm Hotel.

This is South Africa’s largest professional Muaythai event.

The organizers of the event, Eclipse Fight League (EFL), promise an explosive night of Muaythai action as top talent from across Africa steps into the ring for honour, legacy… and a trip to Thailand, sponsored by the Royal Thai Embassy of Pretoria and the Tourism Authority of Thailand.

Pretoria’s own Cole Henning, a man who has made his mark in the MMA community, will also be in action at Saturday’s Gladiators Cup showdown at the Silver Lakes Hotel in the east of Pretoria.

Muaythai is the national sport of Thailand and it goes without saying that the winner of such a valuable prize will have the opportunity to enrich himself with knowledge from the Muaythai treasury in the country where the sport originated.

Damian Collins, two-time national champion of the South African Muaythai Federation SAMF and son of the famous South African Gladiators TV show, Garth Collins, will definitely be one of the biggest attractions at this event. He will face Josiah Obasi from the West Rand in the Co-Main Pro Fight.

Another fighter who will be in action is Pretoria’s own Cole Henning, a man who has made his mark in the MMA community. Henning will face Zimbabwean Sylvester Chipfumbu, and organisers believe spectators can expect fireworks as these two seasoned pros battle it out for their chance at Muaythai glory.

The event’s fight card offers nine action-packed fights, before it will be time for the grand finale, Gladiators Cup Final.

Further information is available on the social media platforms of Eclipse Fight League.  Tickets for this spectacle are available online at www.eflsa.com
