Pretoria Covid-19 daily cases show downward trend

Only about 217 positive cases were recorded on Monday.

Covid-19 cases in Pretoria have shown a downward trend as opposed to the reported peak period in August.

On Monday, the region recorded about 217 new cases according to stats published by the department of health.

Sunday saw about 445, a low number considering projections of modellers which anticipated August to have the highest number of transmissions.

The total number of Covid-19 cases stood at 40 475 with 26 823 recoveries and 558 recorded deaths thus far.
