[IN PICTURES] DA leaders and supporters ‘march for jobs’

Wednesday 15 June, saw the DA Interim Youth Leader, Yusuf Cassim MP, DA Provincial Leader, Jacques Smalle MPL, and Provincial Chairperson, Langa Bodlani MPL leading a march through town to the Office of the Premier to deliver a memorandum of concerns to Limpopo Premier, Stan Mathabatha.

POLOKWANE – According to the latest statistics, an estimated 1.963 million people in Limpopo are not economically active, the expanded unemployment rate is standing at 38.4% whilst unemployment rate among Limpopo youth is 25%.

To date, the DA is the only political party in South Africa with a clear plan for growing the economy and creating jobs for the people of Limpopo and the entire country.

The march started at the SABC park down Hans van Rensburg street to the Office of Premier where the memorandum was handed over. Several lanes were blocked in Hans van Rensburg Street due the march.
