Sean Landman and Maxwell Raubenheimer from Oin Baceu Wrestling Club deliver perform well at the South African Greco-Roman National Championships.
POLOKWANE – Laerskool Pietersburg Noord brothers Sean Landman and Maxwell Raubenheimer delivered standout performances at the South African Greco-Roman National Championships held at the Gauteng North Wrestling Hall recently.
Record-breaking event
The landmark event drew a record-breaking 591 entries across all age groups, from under-8 to seniors, featuring over 760 competitive matches.
Gold and silver medals
Landman, a Grade 5 learner, took gold in his age group and gold in the president category. Raubenheimer, in Grade 2, earned gold in his age group and silver in the president category.
“Well done to both learners for their achievements. They have done their club and school proud,” said principal Greg Schoeman.

Wrestling under the Oin Baceu Wrestling Club in Polokwane under coach Jan Roets, the brothers say they are grateful for the guidance from the club and encouragement from their school.
