Air-o-Plane takes off
2013 Cansa Relay For Life Organisers held their Air-o-Plane event at Bolivia Lodge
The 2013 Cansa Relay For Life Organisers held their Air-o-Plane event at Bolivia Lodge on Saturday evening.
The Air-o-Plane took off at exactly 18:00 where passengers on the plane were treated to various entertainment acts. Singing, dancing, drumming and instrumentals livened up the trip.
The plane travelled through three countries, China, Mexico and Australia.
Captain David Booth instructed passengers to put on their safety belts and enjoy the ride to their first stop, which was China. Passengers enjoyed their starters in true Chinese style. After the starters, the plane took off again and this time it was headed to Mexico, where passengers would have their main course. During the trip to Mexico, passengers enjoyed some more entertainment.
The last and final stop of the evening was Australia where passengers had their dessert.
Booth, who is one of the organisers said the evening was well-spent and enjoyed by many who came to support Cansa. “The show was organised to raise money for the 2013 Relay For Life. It was a successful evening and we would like to thank everyone that helped and supported the project”.
A Mark Boucher signed cricket shirt framed by Ginny Kemp was auctioned off to raise more money for Relay For Life. The Cansa 2013 Relay For Life will be held at the Peter Mokaba Stadium on October 11.
