Sassa brings November grant payments forward ahead of elections
Sassa has brought forward November grant payments ahead of the November 4 elections. Older Persons Grants will be paid from October 30.
LIMPOPO – Social grant payments for November will begin earlier than usual, with Sassa bringing forward its payment schedule ahead of the upcoming Local Government Elections on November 4.
According to Sassa, the revised dates were agreed to help ensure payments continue without unnecessary disruption during the election period.

Additional payment day for reviews
Sassa said November 5 has been set aside as an additional payment day specifically for beneficiaries whose grants are undergoing review.
The agency reminded beneficiaries who have been notified of a review to respond to official communication and attend appointments when requested.

Don’t rush to collect
Beneficiaries have also been urged not to visit Sassa offices unnecessarily or rush to collect their grants, as payments will be processed according to the revised schedule.
The agency said the changes are intended to support the orderly administration of grants during the election period while ensuring eligible beneficiaries continue to receive their financial assistance.
