KFC now home in Seshego

LOVERS of KFC in Seshego and the surrounding areas can now enjoy KFC without having to travel to Polokwane’s central business district.

A new KFC drive-through restaurant opened its doors in the newly-opened Seshego Circle Centre last Wednesday.

According to the store’s owner, Tim Bourdillon, the outlet plans to make a difference in the community by providing quality and affordable take-away meals that will benefit clients through value for money.

He said he decided to open a KFC in Seshego because he realised that some people spent money unnecessarily travelling to the city centre just to enjoy delicious KFC meals.

“Now that we are conveniently positioned at the new centre, our Seshego customers don’t have to travel so far to buy their favourite KFC meals.

“In terms of our community involvement and corporate social initiative, residents stand to benefit as we plan to have an impact on the community through our national feeding scheme, Add Hope, from which local underprivileged children will benefit.

“We also plan to continue to involve local schools in our KFC mini cricket initiative run in partnership with Cricket South Africa, where children are exposed to cricket opportunities,” he explained.

Bourdillon, who owns eight other KFC outlets in the province, said it was a privilege for him to be part of the Seshego community through the services his restaurant would provide with the support of a team that is not only vibrant, but dedicated and prepared to go the extra mile.

Currently there are 45 people employed at the outlet.

“It is very exciting and rewarding and we thank our Seshego customers for their support today.

“We look forward to making many more people smile by providing their favourite KFC meals,” Bourdillon said.

Williet Mathebula, restaurant general manager, said that she was happy for the opportunity provided by the opening of the outlet.

Seshego KFC is open from 08:00 to 21:00 from Mondays to Sundays.
