Northern Muslim School's foundation phase learners celebrated Grandparents' Day

Northern Muslim School’s foundation phase learners celebrated Grandparents’ Day on Saturday.

The learners invited their grandparents for snacks and performed different acts to illustrate how much they loved and appreciated their grandparents.

Ten cakes, baked by residents who participated in a competition called “The Next Best Baker”, were auctioned at the function and about R8 100 was raised.

Khadija Motala, one of the teachers and organisers said the money would be used for the development of the school’s jungle gym.
