Afrikaans paper was ‘easy, good’

Gr. 12 learners wrote the Afrikaans examination last Tuesday and shared with Review how they experienced the questions and what they planned for next year.

POLOKWANE – Gr. 12 learners wrote the Afrikaans examination last Tuesday and shared with Review how they experienced the questions and what they planned for next year.

Khathu Maboha said he planned to study tourism development.

“The Afrikaans paper was easier than the trial examination. We thought it would be like the June examination, but it was a good paper.” Arthur Hlekane said the paper was good, but was too long. “I managed to finish just in time. The questions were easy, but too long. Compared to the June examination, this one was better, especially as Afrikaans is our second language. I want to study B.Com economics next year.”

Katlego Mahlangu said she was going to study chartered accounting next year.

“The Afrikaans paper was very easy, as long as you knew all the basics. It was very nice.”
