Nirvana Primary awards hard workers

Nirvana Primary School held their annual prize giving ceremony for their intermediate phase, gr. 4 to gr. 6, on Friday afternoon.

POLOKWANE – Nirvana Primary School held their annual prize giving ceremony for their intermediate phase, gr. 4 to gr. 6, on Friday afternoon.

The principal, Thokozane Mhlongo, said the purpose of the prize-giving was to show the learners, parents and teachers that their efforts throughout the year were appreciated.

Mhlongo urged parents to support their children and to motivate them in everything they did.

She also encouraged the children to motivate themselves to do better, if they did not get support at home.

“If you are not praised at home, praise yourself.

“Parents please encourage your children because they are the leaders of tomorrow.

“Work hard children because knowledge is power, and no one can take that away from you,” Mhlongo said.
