POLOKWANE – Little Blessings Pre-school and Trinity Primary School held a graduation ceremony for their gr. R learners on November 9.
There were 67 graduates between the two classes this year.
“This is a huge milestone in the lives of the learners,” said Charmaine Botha, the owner of Little Blessings and Trinity.
“It has meant so much to us to watch them grow and see them change from year to year.”
Each year, three trophies are awarded in each class.
The David trophy is awarded to the learner who constantly works hard throughout the year and has excelled academically.
The award was presented to Joëlle Baker (Funny Flies class, Little Blessings), Oratile Thobejani (Jellyfish class, Trinity), Basani Ramaila (Jimmey Crickets class , Little Blessings) and Mpho Motalaota (Angelfish class, Trinity).
The Joshua trophy is awarded to the learner who has shown the most improvement throughout the year.
The award was presented to Georgia Bower (Funny Flies class, Little Blessings), CJ Tleane (Jellyfish class, Trinity), Adonai Phaka (Jimmey Crickets class, Little Blessings) and Kgabo Moloto (Angelfish class, Trinity).
The Ruth trophy is awarded to the learner who has shown the most spiritual growth during the year.
Junior Makwena (Funny Flies class, Little Blessings), Tererai Manyawo (Jellyfish class, Trinity), Nathan Nelson (Jimmey Cricket class, Little Blessings) and Bravious Ramoadi (Angelfish class, Trinity) received the award.
Lesedi Mojapelo was awarded for showing the best behaviour throughout the year.
Amelia van Vollenstee, one of the class teachers said: “I am very proud of the learners for their high academic standard”.
