Women create Sweet Harmony in community with their club

PASSION and love for the community is what prompted the women of Mashobohleng in Moletjie to start Sweet Harmony Club.

PASSION and love for the community is what prompted the women of Mashobohleng in Moletjie to start Sweet Harmony Club.

According to one of the club members, Friddah Masela, the aim of starting the club is to assist each other during events such as funerals.

She says the joining fee is R1 500 and thereafter members pay R30 monthly.

Women who wish to join the club must be between the ages of 18 and 38.

“Death happens and when it does, you often find that some families have nothing and this can be stressful,” says Masela.

Yvonne Mokwatedi, another member of the club says the club started in May 2011 and has since grown from strength to strength.

“There is love and mutual respect between the members. We look forward to new members joining us so we can grow the club across Limpopo,” says Mokwatedi.

Those who are interested in joining the club can contact Joyce Nkoana at 073 420 0498.
