Born in Ga-Mphahlele just outside Polokwane, Bokang Montjane is one of South Africa's young female powerhouses.
POLOKWANE – Born in Ga-Mphahlele just outside Polokwane, Bokang Montjane is one of South Africa’s young female powerhouses.
She was crowned Miss World Africa 2011 and Miss South Africa 2010, and she is the director of Bokang Legacy, SB Powerhouse, the executive producer of Pulse TVF and the founder of the Bokang Montjane Foundation.
Apart from being crowned Miss South Africa 2010 and being the holder of various pageant titles, Bokang is also a businesswoman and philanthropist, who runs a foundation which has campaigns to empower young people in South Africa.
Bokang believes in challenging young people to look beyond their backgrounds and believe in their dreams.
The Bokang Montjane Foundation together with Cell C, is currently visiting South African high schools, where they dare young people to dream.
The Bokang Montjane Foundation represents and implements programmes aimed at combating teenage pregnancy through education and self-confidence seminars, sports development, youth camps and promoting arts and culture activities in schools across Gauteng, KwaZulu Natal, North West, Eastern Cape and the Northern Cape.
