POLOKWANE – Bosman Brink (40) has accomplished his fair share of great achievements in his lifetime.
Bosman ended third in the Honda CBR 600 Challenge in 2008, has written two books, The Mechanics of Relationships and Love, Death and Others and is also the proud owner and instructor of the Brink Bike Training Academy.
Bosman studied mechanical engineering, clinical engineering, quality management and computer science. He is currently studying psychology to further his career.
Bosman however did not have smooth sailing towards his many achievements. After a series of traumatic events that occurred while he was still living in Pretoria, he decided to move back to Polokwane where his mother stays.
“My fiancé had cheated on me, my father passed away, business was difficult and everything just seemed to go wrong,” said Bosman.
He decided to turn over a new leaf. Polokwane was in fact just that.
Together with his wife, whom he met soon after arriving in Polokwane, he found his purpose in life.
They have been together for the past six years and have two children. “To make a difference is what I am aiming for. Days on which I don’t know how to make a difference, I really find hard,” he said.
Currently Bosman enjoys his time with his family and friends and is also the proud owner of the bikers club, The Unicorn Riders, which participates in a lot of charity events. He focuses a lot on his Bike Training Academy to ensure that bikers would be safer on the streets.
He looks up to world renowned Moto GP racer, Valentino Rossi and US therapist Dr Phil McGraw, “my nickname in the club is Dr Phil”.
Bosman has a great love for his family, writing, people.
“If you can make a difference in life, then you are truly living,” he said.
