Death on Lim roads
AT LEAST 10 accidents occurred on Limpopo's roads over the past weekend, claiming several lives including prominent gospel artist Mpho Regalo (Gangashe) and two traffic officials in separate accidents.

This was confirmed by transport spokesperson, Kagiso Mootane.
Regalo died in an accident that occurred on the N1 North to Makhado on Friday night together with his mother, Violet Gangashe and a woman known as Collet Nyath.
A distraught member of Regalo’s group, Tendani Mahwasane, said he had lost a brother whom he held dear. “He was a brother to me. We lived close to each other in Midrand,” he said.
In the Sekhukhune area on Saturday, on the R579 near Schoonoord, the driver of a bakkie lost control of the vehicle causing it to overturn and roll several times. Another bakkie collided with it as it rolled, leaving four people dead.
Two more people died on the R33 near Modimolle when two vehicles collided head-on killing both drivers.
On the R81 that connects Polokwane and Thohoyandou, a pedestrian was hit by a car and died instantly.
Meanwhile, the department was still reeling with shock following the deaths of two employees attached to the Maruleng municipality last Tuesday. Two traffic officials from Maruleng, Joseph Malomane and Florence Matshavhana died when the wheel of the car they were travelling in sustained a puncture and the driver lost control.
