Preparation for 2016 Relay afoot

The new Cansa Relay For Life Louis Trichardt committee is hard at work planning for the next Relay.

LOUIS TRICHARDT – The new Cansa Relay For Life Louis Trichardt committee is hard at work planning for the next Relay.
Next year’s Relay will be held on March 18 at Louis Trichardt High School.
According to Dirk Meissenheimer, chairperson of the Cansa Relay For Life, next year’s Relay will be bigger and better than that of previous years.
For this Relay, the committee is trying to recruit 100 teams to enter and anyone can enter; schools, families, friends, businesses, sport clubs or even charity organisations.
Teams should be made up of 10 to 15 members and they can put up a gazebo and decorate it according to their theme.
Teams of 10 members pay R500, while teams of 15 members pay R750. No liquor, cigarettes or drugs will be allowed on the premises.
