LIMPOPO – THE Masoga family in Mmotong will now have a roof over their heads thanks to the Maja family.

The CEO of the Limpopo Gambling Board, Serobi Maja and his wife, Raesetja recently donated building material to build a three-roomed house for the Masoga family.

“Our mother passed away in 2002 and no one was willing to help us,” said Jan Masoga.

He said he struggled to find a job as he did not have an ID.

“We really thank the Maja family for the building material. It really means a lot to us. I hope they also help others who are in a similar situation as us,” he said.

“We were touched by this family’s situation after the person who borrowed them a structure to build a shack took it back, leaving the family homeless and without shelter,” Maja said.

He said he was proud to be able to make a difference and do something for the community.

“We have spent about R30 000 on this family, and we call on people to come on board and assist where they can,” he said.
