Thobela FM celebrates with Bochum listeners
In celebration of their 55th anniversary and to interact with their listeners, Thobela FM broadcasted live from Bull Bull in Bochum
LIMPOPO – In celebration of their 55th anniversary and to interact with their listeners, Thobela FM broadcasted live from Bull Bull in Bochum on Saturday.
According to Thobela FM Station Manager, Moshongwa Matsena, this was not only done for the station’s 55th birthday celebration, but also to honour their house number 55 competition winner.
“We really do appreciate the support we get from our listeners all over the country. We aim to entertain, educate and inform our people. The station will have a series of live outdoor broadcasting events throughout the summer,” said Matsena.
Maphuthi Tjiane, the house number 55 competition winner, said having Thobela FM broadcast live from his house was seen as a special gift from God.
The station gave away prizes to it’s listeners everyday throughout June, where a lucky winner walked away with R55 000 as the station celebrated their 55th birthday.
