POLOKWANE – Golfers enjoyed some time out on the green at the Polokwane Golf Club last week, participating in various competitions.

Sun Meropa Betterball Golf Challenge on September 12

Raymond Pratt and Hein Warmenhoven claimed first place with a total of 47 points

Charles Mdhluli and Thabo Shingange were placed second with a total of 46 points on a count-in and Pat Molepo and Raymond Muskaike took third place with a total of 46 points on a count-out.

Nearest to the pin on hole nine was Shingange and on hole 18, Otto Muller.

 

 

Review Golf Challenge on 16 September

Riaan Piek was in top form, winning the Review Golf Challenge.

Martin van Ghent was second with a total of 37 points on a count-in and Dirk Visagie third with a total of 37 points on a count-out.

The nearest to the pin on hole four was Steve Rudd, Keith Badenhorst hit the longest drive on hole 17.

 

 

Amarillo Spur Betterball Golf Challenge on 19 September

Len Baker and Les Cook were the winners with a total of 48 points on a count-in.

Dirk Visagie and Chris Binneman came second with 48 points on a count-out, while Riaan Strydom and Dawid van der Walt claimed the third place spot with a total of 46 points.

The nearest to the pin on hole four was Anthony Olley and on hole 16 was Les Cook.
