POLOKWANE – The new management team at Thornhill Spar headed by Christo Vlok and his wife Chaunay, have only one goal: offering the best and freshest range of products at the best prices with service that is unmatched.

“We here at Thornhill Spar are in the business of customer satisfaction; we have a open-door policy and would like our customers to consider this shop as their own. We want to bring back the My Spar feeling to the people.
“If any of our customers feel that they are not getting the service they deserve, they are free to come and meet with us or make suggestions in our suggestion book in the front of the store. We promise to deliver fresh products in our food sections with a wide variety of food available, Thornhill Spar promises not to disappoint,” the Vloks promise.
The store also has a group of very capable management personnel that is ready to make its customers’ shopping experience the best
Ulrich Vlaming is the department manager and will be able to assist with any queries about any of departments in the store. Johannes Muthwa is the bakery manager, Mamoloko Komape is the front-end supervisor and can deal with any queries that may arise from the paypoints and Justice Chokoe is the floor manager and can assist with any issues on the shopping floor. Bianca Ferreira is the kitchen manager.
The store’s shopping hours have been extended from 06:15 to 20:00 from Mondays to Fridays and from 07:00 to 20:00 on Saturdays and Sundays.
Win-a-car competition
Thornhill Spar’s latest initiative, a win-a-car competition, kicked off on Thursday 24 September.
To enter the competition, shoppers who spend R150 or more can write their name, address and daytime contact number on the back of their original Thornhill Spar till slip and submit it in the car. Entries can be made until Saturday, 28 November at 12:00 and the draw will take place at 13:00. The winner will be the proud owner of a brand new Volkswagen Polo.
The terms and conditions of the competition can be seen on the hood of the car inside the store.
