MOKOPANE – Leubaneng Primary School in Marulaneng village outside Mokopane boasts with brand new stationery and books thanks to READ and Maths Centre.
“In 2013 Mologadi Maluleke, a teacher at the school, won the PEP amazing teacher competition and as a result we were crowned as a PEP academy school until 2016,” principal Sabinah Thabethe told Bosveld.
“At PEP we believe that education is crucial to the future of our country. The PEP academies is our flagship social investment project,” reads their website.
The school received stationery and books on 6 November from their sponsors, the Read and Math Centre.
“These gifts will definitely help us to give the learners the best possible education, we are truly grateful. At Leubaneng we do not expect everything to be handed to us on a silver platter, but we believe that through hard work we will reap the fruits. Our main goal is to offer the best possible education to the learners,” Thabethe said.
