POLOKWANE – Top learners from Pemps Primary School got an opportunity to shine in front of their parents and fellow learners during the annual prizegiving ceremony held recently in the school hall.
Learners were recognised for both sport and academics.
The Gr 7 academic trophies were awarded to:
1. Jessica Johnson – Best in Afrikaans (Esther van Vuuren Memorial Trophy).
2. Nkateko Moshoana – Best in Tsonga (Gingirikani Trophy).
3. Refiloe Raphasha – Best Academic Achievement in Maths (Dr Mahango Trophy).
4. Mmapula Sodi – Best Academic Achievement in Science (Dr Mahango Trophy).
5. Mahlogonolo Nkadimeng – Most Promising Performer in Dramatic Art (Pieter van der Westhuizen Trophy).
6. Tshepi Molotja – Most Promising Learner in Arts (Pieter van der Westhuizen Trophy).
7. Theto Moloisi – Highest Marks in Sepedi (Kodumela Moepathutse Cup).
8. Mufunwa Madele – Tshivenda (Pfunzo Ifa Cup).
