CPF elects new committee

A new community policing forum (CPF) executive committee was recently appointed by residents.

POLOKWANE – A new community policing forum (CPF) executive committee was recently appointed by residents.

Executive committee member, Johan Retters said the main objective of the executive committee is to establish and maintain a partnership between the community and the police.

This, he says, is to promote cooperation between the police and residents to fulfill the needs of the community regarding policing.

“We want to improve the rendering of policing services to the community and promote joint problem-solving by the police and the community.”

Retters invites residents to join the CPF in their area as a means of being informed about crime generators as well as making a difference in the community.
