New look Standard Bank branch now open
The new look Standard Bank Square branch has finally been unveiled.
POLOKWANE – The newly revamped offices opened officially this Monday.
Since its inception in 1862, Standard Bank has become one of South Africa’s largest financial services groups.
The company has always prided itself in being innovative and creative and that is why they are on a quest to remain a cut above the rest.
According to Standard Bank Provincial Marketing Manager, Tshilidzi Ramanyime, the Standard Bank Square branch is one-of-a-kind in Polokwane.
“It is the third of its kind in the province but the only one in the city. Being more spacious and user-friendly are only a few of the aspects which makes it unique. We built it around our customers’ needs,” Tshilidzi explained.
The offices boast new teller booths, meeting rooms for customers who want more privacy, in-house Wi-Fi, self-help stations and a more digital-driven workspace.
“The new look branch is clutter free which means it is free of paper materials. We are becoming more digital and moving with the times,” Tshilidzi continued.
Kgaugelo Mojalefa is the Team Leader of Service Branches in Polokwane and had this to say about the revamped branch: “This is an exciting time for us as Standard Bank. We have been working on this long term project for about three years and this is only the beginning. We welcome any views and feedback from our customers because their feedback is highly important to us,” Kgaugelo explained. The new branch is fully operational with the same trading hours as usual.
