POLOKWANE – For their 67 minutes on Mandela Day, Boston College decided to serve soup to people living on the streets of Polokwane. They had a make-shift kitchen at the SABC Park where they served bread and 60 litres of soup.

“We would like to thank all our sponsors for their contributions without which we would not have been able to do our part on Mandela Day,” says Melone Beneke, Branch Manager.

Boston College would like to thank their sponsors Charlotte Livingston, Erika and Pastor Nel from the Full Gospel Church, Edna van Rensburg, Tanya van Aswegen and Sunbake.

“This food helps a lot, thank you,” said Pieter Moyepo, a Polokwane resident who was grateful for the soup.
