R87 million Powerball jackpot ‘winner’ comes forward
The winner bought the winning Quickpick ticket at a filling station in a village outside Mokopane.
MOKOPANE – The National Lottery, Ithuba, reports that the weekends winner of R87,6 million has come forward.
According to Busi Koloi the head of Customer Relations at the National Lottery a man believed to the winner made contact with the Polokwane office.
They cannot confirm yet whether the gentleman has the winning ticket but arrangements have been made to meet this week with the national office to check if the ticket is valid says Koloi.

This was the biggest jackpot since Ithuba took over the National Lottery in June last year.
The winning numbers for Friday night’s Powerball draw were: 35, 1, 16, 7, 28 and bonus number 3.
