Edith puts her best foot forward
They say cleanliness is next to Godliness and that is a sentiment that 43-year-old Edith Mojapelo lives by.
POLOKWANE – She has been working for Energy FM as a general assistant and helper for the past year and a half.
Mojapelo is originally from Ga-Matlala Teneriffe and has always been a hard-working woman.
Edith explains how working for the station has impacted her life.
“Working at Energy FM has changed my life in a big way. I’m inspired by the way the station changes other people’s lives, I’m inspired by the station’s love for people,” she says.
She says she is passionate about her job and appreciates the respect her colleagues give her.
For her, doing something she enjoys and earning an income from it is a great accomplishment. She is described as a woman who puts cleanliness over everything. She says making sure everything is neat and in order is very satisfying.
“My most memorable moments include having the opportunity to meet people I admire through the station. Activities such as going to team building exercises and gala dinners also stand out for me.”
The wife and mother says when she is met with challenges, she always communicates with those close to her.
She says working in a dynamic environment such as the one at Energy FM has taught her patience and the ability to get along with people from different backgrounds.
The strong-willed woman says no matter what your job title is, you must always put your best foot forward.
“Do not be picky about which job to take because these days it is hard to find the perfect job.
“Stay positive and always give your best,” she concludes.
